1. Scope
This policy covers visits to avatarstudio.hu, the quote form and communications about our services. Registration is not required. Our refreshed services start with an individual enquiry. The form does not subscribe you to a newsletter, start a purchase or request payment-card details.
2. Enquiry data and purpose
We request your name, company name, email address, selected service, collaboration type and project description so we can understand your needs and respond. Your phone number and a link to your website or materials are optional. We also process the submission language and time, and the technical notification status. Required fields are needed to submit the form; you can also contact us directly by email. Do not provide passwords, payment details, health information or other sensitive personal data.
3. Legal bases
Enquiries made on your own behalf and resulting contracts are processed as necessary for steps before entering a contract and its performance (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For business contact persons, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and maintaining business communications (Article 6(1)(f)); you may object. Billing and mandatory records are processed to comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). Optional analytics relies on consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Storage and recipients
The form runs through WordPress/WPForms. Accepted enquiries are saved in a non-public, access-controlled record on AvatarStudio's hosting, and a notification is sent to hello@mikloskovacs.io. Providers supporting the website, hosting, email and backups may process the information needed for those tasks. Email notifications use Rackhost's SMTP service. We do not send enquiry content to Google Analytics, and the form does not automatically send it to generative AI tools. Accountants, authorities or other authorised recipients may receive data where legally required.
5. AI tools in commissioned work
We may use AI tools for image, video, copy and website production. Where client materials contain personal data or an identifiable person's likeness, we discuss the necessary authorisations, selected tools, recipients and processing conditions before upload. Our own demonstration assets use fictional brands, property and a fictional presenter. We do not use your enquiry to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
6. Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract and related correspondence are kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless an ongoing matter or legal claim justifies longer retention. Contract records are retained for the active relationship and the applicable legal, tax and accounting retention periods. Retention of large production media files and project access is agreed for each project. Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser for 180 days and can be changed sooner.
7. Cookies and Google Analytics
We use technical storage needed for operation and secure form submission. Google Analytics loads only after you accept analytics cookies. We set the _ga and _ga_* analytics cookies to expire after 180 days, without automatically extending their lifetime. It may then receive information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, interactions and cookie identifiers. The EEA provider is Google Ireland Limited, and its US affiliates may participate in processing. Transfers outside the EEA require an applicable adequacy decision or another GDPR safeguard. See Google's Privacy Policy. You can withdraw consent through Cookie settings at any time. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the enquiry form or demonstrations. Your choice is remembered in local storage; accepting analytics is not consent to marketing.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and, where the legal conditions apply, data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Send requests to hello@mikloskovacs.io. We normally respond within one month and request identity verification only where necessary and proportionate. You can complain to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information or seek a judicial remedy.
9. Security and updates
The public website uses HTTPS and enquiry records are not public. The sample website's demonstration form does not transmit or store information. We update this policy when the operation changes and show the current date. Contact us using the details above with privacy questions.
